Positioning a guide, not a salesperson
An independent Thermomix consultant needed a site that educated visitors and made booking a free demonstration feel low-pressure.
The problem
Penny sells Thermomix appliances as an independent consultant, which meant the site had two jobs at once: explain what the appliance actually does to someone who has never seen one in use, and do it without feeling like a sales pitch. Most visitors arrive sceptical of both the price and the pitch — the site had to earn its way past that before asking for anything.
The approach
We built the site around education first, conversion second. Content explains cooking modes and real-world use in plain language, video sits alongside recipes rather than replacing explanation, and the booking step for a free demonstration is positioned as a natural next step rather than a hard sell.
What we built
- An educational content structure explaining cooking modes and real-world use
- A low-pressure conversion flow for demonstration bookings
- Video integration alongside a recipe collection, so the appliance can be seen in use
- A personal, consultative tone carried consistently through the site
Outcome
A warm, informative site that lets visitors learn at their own pace. The demonstration booking flow feels natural rather than pushy, and the content builds confidence before any purchase decision is made.
